Bekmukhambetov Damir Aibolovich was born on August 4, 1993 in Almaty. In 2013 he successfully graduated from CATS College London (Great Britain, London) with a degree in “Mathematics, physics, chemistry”. In 2016 he graduated from Queen Mary University of London (Great Britain, London) with a degree in “Mechanical Engineering”.

He began his career in September 2016 as an engineer at Tulpar-Talgo LLP (a plant for the production of passenger carriages). He was directly involved in the assembly of carriages, resolving emerging issues regarding the interpretation of drawings and diagrams of the holder of design documentation from Spain - Patents Talgo, determining the need for tools and materials, drawing up purchase requests, supervised the work of the welding shop.

Since July 2017 – Chief Specialist of the Technical Center of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC. In this position, Damir Bekmukhambetov carried out the analysis, development, and approval of regulatory and technical documentation on the issues of commissioning, modernization, repair, and extension of the service life of passenger carriages and their components.

In May 2018, he was appointed Chief Manager of the Freight Transportation Marketing Department of JSC «KTZ - Freight Transportation». In this position, he interacted with consumers of services (railway administrations, ports, shippers, forwarding, trading and other organizations) to identify their needs for services, create the necessary conditions for increasing freight traffic, as well as attracting new potential customers and freight traffic for railway transport services.

Since November 2018, Damir Bekmukhambetov has been the Head of the Rolling Stock Department of Kazzinc-TemirTrans LLP. Within the framework of his powers, he carried out planning and organization of repairs and maintenance of freight cars and locomotives, planning of needs and provision of spare parts.

Since February 2020, he has worked as a risk manager at Passenger Transportation JSC. Carried out the development, implementation and improvement of the corporate risk management system of the Company, risk assessment, control and monitoring of the state of risks, coordination of draft decisions of the Management Board and the Board of Directors of the Company.

Since January 2021, Damir Bekmukhambetov has been Deputy Commercial Director of Kazakhstan Utility Systems LLP. In accordance with the functional duties, he organized and controlled the activities of subsidiaries in the field of procurement.

In January 2022, Damir Bekmukhambetov was appointed to Commercial Director of Kazakhstan Utility Systems LLP.
